Description
A higher strength single malt Scotch whisky, crafted with the distillery’s century-old traditions. After at least 15 years maturing in traditional American oak and Spanish oak, it is non-chill filtered and bottled at 51% to protect its subtle flavours. On the nose: a delicate floral and creamy aroma with hints of freshly ground black pepper – with a little water, the fruity and vanilla sweetness of Glenfiddich is released. On the palate: the smooth, warming flavour is centred around a delicious creamy spiciness with hints of dark, rich fruit, black pepper and cinnamon – after adding a little water, the softer vanilla and gentle luscious fruit flavours come through. The finish is lingering, sweet and velvety warm. Great for those looking for a full strength, smooth and classic Glenfiddich but with added complexity and character.
